Keep going
Do not open your door. Something is going house to house, pretending to be people.
They emptied your street, house by house.
They wear the faces of your neighbors. It isn't them.
They can only come in if you open. All you have is your doorbell camera.
Save the real ones. Hunt the rest. Hold on until sunrise.
This is the game, live on your doorbell. Check who is out there with what you have, then slide the bolt: open, or leave them outside.

-7%/sThe only color your camera has. A person casts a shadow. That thing doesn't.
-6%/sYour doorbell has a mic. People breathe. If the wind cuts out too, don't open.
-6%If it's really them, it rings on your porch. If it isn't, the real one picks up, at home.
×2Sure? The spotlight burns what isn't a person and pays well. Use it on a person and they run.
Every check spends battery, and the battery doesn't reach for everybody. You choose who is worth it.
Safe!
Open to a person and they spend the night in your house.
That was a person!
Leave them outside and they may come back different.
It was a monster!
Open to one and it takes someone you saved. When nobody is left, it takes you.
Real voices and terrible excuses. Any of them can be themselves tonight. Or not. No face and no costume is ever a clue.
Between nights you are in the one warm room in the game, with the people you saved. Five fit. Each one helps in their own way, and the longer they stay, the more they tell you about this street.
A night is a recipe: who rings, what can be trusted tonight and how many you must save. The same doubt, with less time and more tells each night. And every fifth night, a hard one.

You made it to morning. Tonight it rings again.
